Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 18, 2026: Haryana Thunders continued their impressive start to the Pro Wrestling League 2026 season, registering a solid 6–3 victory over Delhi Dangal Warriors in Match 5 at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
Building on their opening-day momentum, Haryana Thunders delivered a strong all-round performance, combining explosive technical wins with composed tactical bouts to stay in control for most of the evening.
Delhi Dangal Warriors fought hard and picked up crucial points, but Haryana’s depth across weight categories ultimately proved decisive.
The game got underway with a closely contested women’s 76kg bout, where Kajal edged past Anastasia A 6–5 to give Haryana an early boost.
Ankush then stamped his authority in the men’s 57kg category, producing a dominant 13–3 win over Shubham to stretch the lead.
The standout performance of the night came in the women’s 53kg bout, as Yui Susaki produced a breathtaking display of speed and precision, defeating Saarika 16–0 in just 57 seconds.
The emphatic win earned Susaki the Player of the Match award and left the crowd in awe of her sheer dominance.
Haryana tightened their grip on the tie when Anirudh Gulia delivered a flawless 13–0 victory over Ronak Dahiya in the men’s 125kg category, showcasing complete control from start to finish.
Neha Sangwan followed it up with yet another masterclass, overpowering Karla Godinez 18–2 in the women’s 57kg bout to further strengthen Haryana’s position.
Delhi Dangal Warriors found some respite through Sujeet Kalkal, who held his nerve in a tense defensive contest to defeat Tumur Tulga 2–1 in the men’s 65kg category. Turan Bayramov also impressed for Delhi with a commanding 8–0 win over Parvinder Singh in the men’s 74kg bout, keeping the contest alive.
However, Haryana sealed the tie convincingly when Iryna Koliadenko cruised to a comprehensive 13–0 victory against Anjali in the women’s 62kg category.
The night concluded with the men’s 86kg bout being awarded to Delhi Dangal Warriors after Ashirov Ashraf was ruled unfit to compete, handing Vafeipour the victory.
With two wins from two matches, Haryana Thunders look firmly settled at the top end of the table. Haryana Thunders franchise which is owned by VRMS Sports & Entertainment LLP, a group led by women entrepreneurs from Kolkata, will next face Maharashtra Kesari on January 23 in their third outing of the PWL 2026 season.
